Abstract

<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA TRANSMITIR E RECEBER DADOS<D> Arranjo para proporcionar transmissão segura de informações. A maior parte das informações é transmitida através de canais não-seguros tais como meios de difusão que terminam em diversas estações receptoras. Contudo, um resíduo de dados é transmitido através de um canal protegido, tal como um canal ponto a ponto estabelecido, por exemplo, por uma conexão telefónica. A intercepção de uma mensagem completa, quando apenas a maior parte da mensagem está disponível, torna-se muito difícil. Ela se torna ainda mais difícil se forem usados arranjos de embaralhamento para selecionar os bits específicos da mensagem de dados que são transmitidos através do canal seguro. E ela se torna muito mais difícil se os próprios dados transmitidos através do canal seguro alterarem o algoritmo de embaralhamento.
