Abstract
"APLICAçõES COM SìLICA REFORçADA E/OU COMPONENTES DE COSTADO DE PNEU" A presente invenção refere-se à preparação de composições de borracha para aplicações de componente de banda de rodagem de pneus e costado de pneu. Um pneu é provido tendo banda de rodagem de tal composição designada para cargas relativamente pesadas tais como, por exemplo, pneus de caminhões. Um pneu tendo um costado de tal composição é também provido. Tais composições de borracha de componente de pneu são de composições de borracha reforçadas com sílica precipitada e negro de fumo em quantidades especificadas e preparadas com uma ordem prescrita de adição à composição de borracha e compostas por elastómeros como uma combinação específica de borracha cis-1,4-poliisopreno natural ou sintética junto com borracha cis-1,4-polibutadieno ou com uma combinação de borracha cis-1,4-polibutadieno e borracha trans-1,4-polibutadieno."APPLICATIONS WITH REINFORCED SILICA AND / OR TIRE BACK COMPONENTS" The present invention relates to the preparation of rubber compositions for tire tread and tire tread component applications. A tire is provided having a tread of such a composition designed for relatively heavy loads such as, for example, truck tires. A tire having a back of such composition is also provided. Such tire component rubber compositions are of rubber compositions reinforced with precipitated silica and carbon black in specified quantities and prepared in a prescribed order of addition to the rubber composition and composed of elastomers as a specific combination of cis-1 rubber, 4-natural or synthetic polyisoprene together with cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber or a combination of cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber and trans-1,4-polybutadiene rubber.
