Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"COQUILHA RESFRIADA COM LìQUIDO"<D>. Um coquilha resfriada com líquido para uma instalação de fundição contínua de lingotes finos de aço apresenta um corpo de coquilha que confere forma a partir de um material de elevada condutividade térmica, tal como cobre ou de uma liga de cobre. De preferência, o corpo de coquilha consiste, em cada caso, em duas paredes laterais largas que se situam uma diante da outra e nas paredes laterais limitantes da largura de vazamento, sendo que as paredes largas formam uma região de entrada do vazamento em forma de funil. A fim de se evitar a formação de fraturas nas regiões termicamente e mecanicamente solicitadas de maneira mais elevada das placas de cobre, estão dispostas, especialmente na região do espelho do banho, zonas de resfriamento com fluxo de calor com relação à superfície mais elevada.
