Abstract
"SISTEMA DE PERFURAçãO MARìTIMA E MéTODO PARA APOIAR UMA TORRE MARìTIMA". Descreve-se um sistema de perfuração marítima do tipo que inclui uma torre (20) ancorada no fundo do mar e conectada por, pelo menos, um conjunto de apoio superior (34) ao casco do navio (14), de modo a que o casco possa acompanhar a força do vento em redor da torre, onde o conjunto de apoio superior é de custo moderado e de alta confiabilidade. Numa construção, o conjunto de apoio superior inclui anéis de apoio de cursor superior e inferior (40, 42) que se voltam face a face na condição adjacente numa interface (44), com o anel de apoio superior fixado à torre, e o anel de apoio inferior apoiado no casco por meio de diversos materiais elastoméricos (102). O material elastomérico permite ligeira inclinação da parte superior da torre sem abrir espaço num dos lados da interface. O anel de apoio inferior é dividido em segmentos (112A, 112B) e uma inclinação maior da torre permite que o lubrificante pressurizado escape somente a partir de um ou de alguns segmentos que começam a se levantar durante a inclinação da referida torre. A marine drilling system of the type is described that includes a tower (20) anchored on the seabed and connected by at least one upper support set (34) to the ship's hull (14), so that the hull can follow the wind force around the tower, where the upper support set is of moderate cost and high reliability. In one construction, the upper support assembly includes upper and lower cursor support rings (40, 42) that face each other in the adjacent condition at an interface (44), with the upper support ring attached to the tower, and the ring lower support supported on the hull using various elastomeric materials (102). The elastomeric material allows for a slight inclination of the top of the tower without making room on one side of the interface. The lower support ring is divided into segments (112A, 112B) and a greater inclination of the tower allows the pressurized lubricant to escape only from one or a few segments that begin to rise during the inclination of the said tower. In another construction, a circle of support devices (202) is provided, where each device includes a cylinder (224) and piston (226), as well as a source of pressurized fluid that is applied to the device.
