<B>"SUPORTE DE CARGA TELESCóPICO COM DISPOSITIVO DE TRAVAMENTO LONGITUDINAL"<D>, a invenção relativa a um suporte de carga com um membro (24) perfilado longitudinalmente extensível e um elemento telescópico (26) cuja lado extremo pode ser axialmente solto nesse sentido em relação a ele mesmo. Um dispositivo de travamento (30, 34) é provido para fixar o membro perfilado (24) e o elemento telescópico (26) em uma posição relativa. Dito mecanismo de travamento compreende uma alavanca de travamento (34) a qual é pivotantemente montada de modo idêntico no membro perfilado (24) ou no elemento telescópico (26) e uma peça de engate (30) a qual é fixada no outro membro perfilado (24) ou elemento telescópico (26).
