Abstract

"MéTODO DE MULTIPLICAçãO DE MILHO COM UMA MAIOR CONCENTRAçãO DE óLEO DE CAROçO, MéTODO PARA A IDENTIFICAçãO DE PLANTAS DE MILHO, LOCUS DE PARTICULARIDADES QUE CONTROLA A CONCENTRAçãO DE óLEO DE CAROçO E PLANTAS DE MILHO". A presente invenção se refere a um método para cultivo com germoplasma de milho com elevado teor de óleo. O método envolve o emprego de marcadores genéticos associados com loci de particularidades de controle da concentração do óleo de caroço. Esses marcadores genéticos são utilizados para selecionar a concentração do óleo de caroço nas populações em multiplicação. Também é apresentado um método para a seleção de fontes parentais de óleos complementares mediante o emprego de marcadores genéticos, os quais têm a probabilidade de produzir uma descendência superior. Também são apresentados os loci de particularidades de controle da concentração do óleo de caroço de milho."CORN MULTIPLICATION METHOD WITH A LARGER CONCENTRATION OF CORE OIL, METHOD FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF CORN PLANTS, LOCATIONS OF PARTICULARITIES THAT CONTROL THE CONCENTRATION OF CORE OIL AND CORN PLANTS". The present invention relates to a method for cultivation with high oil content corn germplasm. The method involves the use of genetic markers associated with specific loci to control the concentration of core oil. These genetic markers are used to select the concentration of seed oil in populations in multiplication. A method is also presented for the selection of parental sources of complementary oils using genetic markers, which are likely to produce superior offspring. Also presented are the loci of particularities for controlling the concentration of corn kernel oil.
