Abstract
''PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE LACTAMAS''. A invenção diz respeito a um processo para produzir lactamas por meio de hidrólise de ciclização de aminonitrilas com água na fase de gás em catalisadores que contêm óxidos ou óxidos misturados de metais dos grupos 3, 4, 5, 13 e/ou 14 da tabela periódica, e opcionalmente um óxido de metal adicional dos grupos 6, 7, 8, 9 e/ou 10. Além disso, os catalisadores compreendem um fosfato, carbonato, silicato, arsenita, arsenato, antimonita, antimonato e/ou nitrato dos metais acima mencionados e/ou um sulfato dos metais acima mencionados quando os óxidos de metal dos grupos 6, 7, 8, 9 ou 10 estão presentes.
