Abstract
"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA PRODUZIR UM CONJUNTO DE MOLAS TIPO COPO, E, REPECTIVO CONJUNTO DE MOLAS TIPO COPO". Na produção de um conjunto de mola tipo copo, um tecido é preso ao longo de múltiplas zonas de costura paralelas de modo a formar um acolchoado definindo uma pluralidade de tubos de tecido paralelos conectados entre si a intervalos uniformemente espaçados. Os tubos assim formados são suportados sobre guias que se estendem longitudinalmente através dos tubos, porções do acolchoado são repetidamente estiradas a partir das guias nas suas primeiras extremidades e dobras formadas em cada camada de tecido as porções estiradas do acolchoado, e molas espirais pré-comprimdias são liberadas dentro dos copos entre cada estiramento da guia, com seus eixos perpendiculares tanto aos eixos dos tubos de tecido quando à direção de avanço do acolchoado, de modo que dobras fixadas no tecido dos tubos em frente e atrás das molas liberadas retêm as mesmas nos copos. O acolchoado é formado in situ sobre as guias, preferivelmente usando um tira separada de tecido para cada tubo. As conexões (8A) entre os tubos têm preferivelmente um vão perpendicular ao plano do acolchoado que é similar ao vão das conexões (16) das dobras.
