Abstract

"PROCESSO DE PELOTIZAçãO DE RAçãO ANIMAL E PELOTAS DE RAçãO ANIMAL PRODUZIDAS A PARTIR DELE" é descrito um processo de produção de pelotas de ração animal em que os ingredientes sólidos e líquidos da ração são previamente misturados, exceto por um ingrediente aglutinante líquido, que é misturado por último. A massa resultante é extrusada em um extrusor de pelotas de matriz anular sem condicionamento com vapor d'água. A temperatura das pelotas extrusadas é baixa, permitindo que os ingredientes termolábeis sejam incorporados à massa. As pelotas extrusadas são resfriadas e/ou secadas conforme exigido. O aglutinante líquido terá propriedades viscosas e coesivas e será, de preferência, um produto secundário líquido condensado proveniente das indústrias de processamento de grãos, alimentos ou rações.
