Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA TRATAMENTO DE LICOR CONTENDO LAMA VERMELHA DE PROCESSO BAYER E PARA PREPARAçãO DE COPOLìMEROS EM EMULSãO DE ALTO PESO MOLECULAR POR MEIO DE POLIMERIZAçãO VIA RADICAIS LIVRES DE MONÈMEROS, E, EMULSãO DE UM COPOLìMERO DE ALTO PESO MOLECULAR FORMADO POR POLIMERIZAçãO VIA RADICAIS LIVRES DE MONÈMEROS" A presente invenção refere-se às melhorias no processo de mineração Bayer, usado para a recuperação de alumina de minério de bauxita. Polímeros em emulsão aquosa contínua são vantajosamente empregados para melhorar a clarificação, filtração e controle de incrustação da lama vermelha contendo licores gerados durante o processo Bayer.
