Abstract
''PROCESSO PARA REMOVER IMPUREZAS DE 3-(2'-ACETOXIETIL)DI-HIDRO-2(3H)-FURANONA'' Um processo para remover impurezas de 3-(2'-acetoxietil)di-hidro-2(3H)-furanona (I), que compreende inicialmente preparar a 3-(2'-acetoxietil)di-hidro-2(3H)-furanona contendo as impurezas indesejáveis de uma maneira conhecida per se acetilando-se 3-(2'-hidroxietil)di-hidro-2(3H)-furanona, subseq³entemente tratá-la com ácidos minerais fortes e finalmente remover os produtos de decomposição das impurezas indesejáveis de I.
