Abstract

<B>DISPOSITIVO PARA DESABILITAR UM VEìCULO TERRESTRE QUE TENHA UM MOTOR COM SISTEMA DE IGNIçãO, MéTODO PARA DESABILITAR UM SISTEMA DE IGNIçãO E MóDULO DE CHAMADA SELETIVA<D> Um módulo de chamada seletiva (102), instalado em um veículo terrestre que tem um motor com um sistema de ignição (118), tem um receptor de chamada seletiva (104), um microprocessador (106) e uma memória não-volátil (108). O módulo de chamada seletiva está conectado a um módulo de controle do motor (116) do veículo terrestre. O microprocessador decodifica sinais de chamada seletiva recebidos e obriga o módulo de chamada seletiva a entrar em um estado de desligamento após decodificar uma mensagem de desligamento. No estado de desligamento, o módulo de chamada seletiva mede a velocidade do motor e imediatamente desliga o motor desligando completamente o sistema de ignição, se a velocidade do motor for menor do que um valor preestabelecido. O módulo de chamada seletiva desliga gradualmente o motor mediante interrupção do sistema de ignição durante períodos de tempo gradualmente crescentes se a velocidade do motor for superior ao valor preestabelecido.
