Abstract
''MéTODO DE UTILIZAçãO DE UM DISPOSITIVO DE FLUTUAçãO E DISPOSITIVO DE FLUTUAçãO'', compreendendo um método e um dispositivo de flutuação (2) adaptado para proporcionar flutuação a pelo menos um elemento longitudinal (2) submerso em água. O dispositivo de flutuação (2) é oco e é preferencialmente feito de plástico ou de material semelhante resistente à corrosão. O dispositivo é preferencialmente produzido como uma unidade só, porém pode incluir várias câmaras separadas (12, 16, 17) que, através de válvulas, podem ser trazidas em comunicação com o ambiente circundante de forma controlada. O dispositivo (2) não estará exposto a grandes pressões diferenciais durante o uso, e consequentemente pode ter uma parede relativamente fina. O dispositivo de flutuação (2) tem um peso muito menor que as bóias existentes, é muito mais simples de montar e de instalar do que as bóias tradicionais de metal e não envolve nenhum problema de corrosão.
