Abstract

<B>COMPOSIçõES EXPURGADORAS DE OXIGêNIO ATIVO E SEU USO EM ARTIGOS DE EMBALAGEM<D> São descritas composições de expurgação de oxigênio ativo e seu uso em artigos de embalagem. As composições são todas de matérias plásticas e são tipicamente desenvolvidas como pelo menos uma camada em uma parede com várias camadas de um artigo de embalagem como uma garrafa, lata ou película. As composições são normalmente utilizadas em combinação com catalisador de metal de transição adicionado para aumentar a absorção de oxigênio. O uso das composições e construções de embalagem descritas serve para aumentar a vida de armazenagem de substâncias sensíveis a oxigênio embaladas e/ou diminuir a necessidade de refrigeração das embalagens.
