Abstract

''SENSOR ELETROQUìMICO COM áREAS DE ELéTRODO EQUALIZADAS'' Descreve-se uma tira de sensor eletroquímico aperfeiçoada. Em uma tira de sensor de muitos elétrodos, a equalização de áreas não operacionais de elétrodo, assim como de áreas operacionais, faz melhorar a precisão e a exatidão totais das medições feitas usando-se a tira de sensor. O efeito benéfico da equalização das áreas é mais acentuado a concentrações de glicose relativamente baixas. Na presente invenção, a exatidão e a capacidade de reprodução da equalização das áreas de elétrodo são aperfeiçoadas evitando-se a superposição entre os elétrodos e um revestimento dielétrico que define uma área de exposição de elétrodo.
