Abstract
"EMULSõES DE ALTA FASE INTERNA E MATERIAIS POROSOS PREPARADOS A PARTIR DOS MESMOS". A presente invenção refere-se uma emulsão de alta fase interna tendo um tensoativo estabilizante, uma ou mais cargas insolúveis, pelo menos 70 por cento de uma fase interna descontínua; e menos que 30 por cento em volume de uma fase externa contínua contendo um ou mais monómero(s) de vinila polimerizável(is). Polimerizar a emulsão água-em-óleo de alta fase interna produz um material polimérico poroso de célula aberta tendo cargas insolúveis incorporadas à sua cadeia polimérica principal."HIGH INTERNAL PHASE EMULSIONS AND POROUS MATERIALS PREPARED FROM THE SAME". The present invention relates to a high internal phase emulsion having a stabilizing surfactant, one or more insoluble charges, at least 70 percent of a discontinuous internal phase; and less than 30 volume percent of a continuous external phase containing one or more polymerizable vinyl monomer (s). Polymerizing the high internal phase water-in-oil emulsion produces a porous, open cell polymeric material having insoluble charges incorporated into its main polymeric chain.
