Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO PARA CANCELAMENTO DE ECO E PROCESSO PARA CANCELAR UM COMPONENTE DE ECO DE UM SINAL DE ENTRADA". Um cancelador de eco no qual coeficientes de função de transferência de um filtro cancelador de eco adaptativo são ajustados periodicamente para rastrear condições de sistema variáveis. O ajuste periódico dos coeficientes efetivos é realizado utilizando um conjunto de coeficientes de atualização mais freq³entemente ajustados e um ganho de atualização que é variado baseado sobre uma estratégica e nova combinação de medições de parâmetro do sistema. Atualizando-se os coeficientes de filtração periodicamente mais exatamente do que continuamente, e tomando-se decisões do tipo de lógica difusa, temporárias, com respeito à magnitude do ganho de atualização, concretizações típicas otimizam a velocidade e adaptabilidade do sistema sem sacrificar a estabilidade. Genericamente, ganhos de atualização relativamente grandes são aplicados em situações onde somente um usuário da extremidade distal está falando e um sinal da extremidade proximal é relativamente livre de ruído. Todavia, em situações de conversação simples, de conversação duplicada, da extremidade proximal e situações de ruído da extremidade proximal elevado, uma abordagem mais conservadora é usada para que o filtro adaptativo não se torne instável ou ocasione distorção nos sinais de voz e de ruído na extremidade proximal. Num e noutro caso, o ganho de atualização é reduzido enquanto o filtro adaptativo converge para casar com um ambiente de eco de estado estável predominante para que perturbações erróneas de um filtro já corretamente adaptado sejam minimizadas. A decisão quanto ao fato de aplicar ganhos de atualização altos ou baixos durante períodos de não convergência é baseada em parte sobre um medidor de estado de sistema compreendendo uma relação de um valor de coeficiente de atualização máximo e um valor de coeficiente de atualização de linha base. O medidor de estado de sistema indica, entre outras coisas, um nível de convergência de sistema. Em concretizações típicas, ganhos de atualização variável relativamente altos são aplicados em situações de conversação simples de extremidade distal não-convergidas empregando um algoritmo de quadrados mínimos normalizado (NMLS) modificado. Em outras situações não convergidas, o ganho de atualizado é ajustado de maneira mais conservadora baseado sobre uma versão normalizada do medidor de estado de sistema. Proporcionando-se dinamicamente ganhos de atualização relativamente grandes enquanto se é cuidadoso para não criar instabilidades do sistema, as concretizações típicas rapidamente e robustamente se adaptam para cancelar ecos proveitosamente em uma ampla variedade de ambientes e condições de sistema.
