Abstract
"METABOLISMO DE REGULAçãO POR MODIFICAçãO DO NìVEL DE TREHALOSE-6-FOSFATO POR INIBIçãO DOS NìVEIS DE TREHALASE ENDóGENA" A invenção encontra-se no campo de regulação do fluxo de carbono no metabolismo da célula. Foi verificado que a indução de uma alteração na disponibilidade intracelular do sacarídeo trehalose-6-fosfato (T-6-P) induz modificações do desenvolvimento e/ou composição das células, tecido e órgãos in vivo. Estas alterações podem ser induzidas por inibição da enzima endógena trehalase que é capaz de hidrolisar trehalose em duas porções de glicose.
