Abstract

<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CONSERVAR ENERGIA EM UM RECEPTOR DE CHAMADA SELETIVA<D> Um sistema de comunicação por rádio (5) incluindo uma unidade de transmissão (1) ligada a pelo menos um controlador (6). O controlador (6) é adaptado para subdividir os SCR's (receptores de chamada seletiva) (2) em grupos de SCR, atribuindo os grupos de SCR a supergrupos, e designando um selecionado número de quadros de mensagem (216) e intervalos de mensagem (208) a cada grupo de SCR em cada supergrupo. Um supergrupo é então selecionado, e incluído em uma mensagem de grupo de aquisição. O supergrupo é para direcionar os SCR's (2) objetivados para receber a mensagem de grupo de aquisição para monitorar mensagens durante o intervalo de recepção de mensagem (203) de acordo com o supergrupo. O controlador (6) então solicita a unidade de transmissão para transmitir a mensagem de grupo de aquisição ao SCR (2). Mensagens objetivando os SCR's específicos são então geradas e transmitidas através da unidade transmissora (1) de acordo com o supergrupo selecionado.
