Abstract

Patente de Inveção"<B>"MéTODO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE SEDIMENTOS A PARTIR DO TRATAMENTO DE áGUA RESIDUAL".<D> Um método para o tratamento de sedimento a partir de purificação de água residual é descrito. No método, um sedimento é tratado, o qual contém fósforo e pelo menos um metal que se origina dos produtos químicos de precipitação e o qual é selecionado dentre ferro divalente e alumínio, o PH do segumento sendo ajustado para baixo de 4, de preferência abaixo de 2, para dissolução do teor de fósforo e do referido metal no sedimento; o sedimento restante é separado; a solução isenta de sedimento e contendo fósforo e o referido metal é tratada para precipitação do teor de fósforo na solução como FePO~4~ em um pH de 2-3; e o FePO~4~ precipitado ser separado. O método é caracterizado pelo fato da solução a qual permanece após separação do FePO~4~ e a qual contém o referido metal dos produtos químicos de precipitação, ser reciclada na purificação de água residual. O teor de fósforo da solução é precipitado como FePO~4~ através da adição de uma quantidade pelo menos equivalente de Fe^3+^.
