Abstract
Patente de Invenção: DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO. Um dispositivo de comunicação sem fio (100) comuta de forma automática e sem interrupção para um sistema alternativo disponível quando ele é incapaz de completar uma tentativa de originar uma chamada, sem exigir que o usuário efetue qualquer ação positiva para selecionar o sistema alternativo ou reiniciar uma origem de chamada. O dispositivo de comunicação sem fio (100) compreende um transreceptor (104) e um processador (107). O transreceptor (104) transmite e recebe mensagens e sinais. O processador (107) gera uma primeira mensagem de sinalização para transmissão a um primeiro sistema de comunicação e gera uma segunda mensagem de sinalização para transmissão a um segundo sistema de comunicação caso o transreceptor não receba uma mensagem de confirmação proveniente do primeiro sistema de comunicação. Isto reduz o percentual de falhas em chamadas por prover um armazenamento de tentativas de origem de chamada pendentes até que o serviço seja finalmente captado. No caso de se exceder o número máximo de seq³ências de acesso (limitado pela ligação de retorno) ou falhas de captação da ligação enviada do sistema de comunicação preferido (limitado pela ligação enviada), o usuário não necessita reiniciar a origem de chamada, dessa forma transformando uma potencial falha de chamada em sucesso.
