Abstract

<B>PRODUTO DE CLORO PARA PRESERVAçãO DE FRUTAS E VEGETAIS<D>. Um produtor de cloro para preservar frutas e vegetais inclui uma primeira camada de papel ou polietileno e uma segunda camada de polietileno. A primeira camada tem um peso de desde aproximadamente 20 até aproximadamente 70 g/m² e é preferivelmente feita de um papel tipo laja. Prefere-se que pelo menos uma superfície da primeira camada seja revestida com uma película permeável de plástico, tal como polietileno, tendo um peso de desde aproximadamente 5 até aproximadamente 25 g/m². As duas camadas estão unidas, preferivelmente por vedação térmica, para definir um oumais bolsos. Um material de hipocloreto, tal como hipocloreto de cálcio, está colocado nos bolsos. Este material libera gás de cloro ativo após reação com umidade das frutas e vegetais. Alternativamente, a primeira camada pode ser impregnada com uma mistura contendo o hipocloreto (tal como uma mistura de hipocloreto e cloreto de sódio) e é preferivelmente revestida com um material de resina.
