Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO PARA RESFRIAMENTO COM áGUA DE PLACAS E VASO DE áGUA DE RESFRIAMENTO"<D>. Método para o resfriamento com água de placas por meio de imersão e um valor de compensação de ângulo de fase usado para o referido método. As placas resfriadas por esse método produzem folhas de aço com um mínimo de crostas e brilho desigual. As placas são imersas em água de modo que suas faces maiores são os seus lados superior e inferior. A imersão é acompanhada por injeção de água (em uma taxa de fluxo de 10 - 150 L/m^ 2.^min) no lado inferior das placas. A direção de injeção de água é perpendicular ou oblíqua o lado inferior das placas. A posição de injeção de água é 30 - 500 mm distante do lado inferior das placas. No caso do resfriamento com água de placas contendo Cr (5 - 30% de Cr), as placas são condicionadas de modo que sua temperatura de superfície seja 500°C ou mais, antes da imersão e a imersão dura até que a temperatura de superfície diminua para 400°C ou menos.
