<B>"ARTIGO ABSORVENTE DESCARTáVEL"<D>. Um artigo absorvente é provido de um par de abas laterais ao loOngo de bordas laterais transversalmente opostas do artigo. Cada uma destas abas laterais é formada, sobre sua superfície superior, com uma série de pregas estendendo-se no sentido longitudinal da aba lateral. Cada uma destas pregas contem um membro elasticamente esticável/contrátil estendendo-se ao longo de sua borda distal de maneira a operar no sentido longitudinal da prega.
