O processo e aparelho da invenção determina a resistividade de formação de solo em profundidade estendidas na formação pelo uso de telemetria de sinais de transmissão para medição da resistividade da formação. A telemetria dos sinais de transmissão conduzem dados de medição a partir de sensores abaixo do buraco através da formação para um receptor acima do buraco. A transmissão do sinal é por meio de telemetria de indução. No receptor, o sinal é demodulado para obtenção dos dados de medição transmitidos.
