Abstract

<B>SERVIçO DE RESPOSTA DE VOZ ATIVA PELA IMTERNET<D>. Um processo e sistema para propiciar a um usuário remoto uma unidade de resposta de voz, que permite aos usuários da Internet acessar unidades de resposta de voz usando uma interface gráfica de rede. Em um aspecto, a presente invenção inclui um nó de serviços telefónicos vi Internet, que inclui um servidor de rede acoplado de modo comunicativo a um sistema de computador de cliente do usuário remoto, um comutador de voz iniciando uma chamada para uma unidade de resposta de voz, responsivo a um sinal proveniente do servidor de rede, um gerador de toque-tom gerando um sinal de toque-tom, responsivo a um sinal proveniente do servidor de rede, e transmitindo o sinal de toque-tom à unidade de resposta de voz através do comutador de voz e um servidor de emissão de áudio recebendo um sinal de áudio proveniente da unidade de resposta de voz através do comutador de voz, digitalizando o sinal de áudio e transmitindo o sinal de áudio digitalizado para o sistema de computador de cliente através do servidor de rede. Em outro aspecto, a fim de propiciar a um usuário remoto acesso a uma unidade de resposta de voz, o nó de serviços telefónicos via Internet recebe uma solicitação para acesso à unidade de resposta de voz proveniente do usuário remoto. São estabelecidas comunicações, com a unidade de resposta de voz. Um sinal de áudio é recebido a partir da unidade de resposta de voz e informações a serem exibidas para o usuário remoto, que correspondem à mensagem de áudio recebida, são transmitidas para o usuário remoto.
