Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"RECIPIENTE METALúRGICO APERFEIçOADO E MéTODO PARA O USO DO MESMO"<D>. Um recipiente metalúrgico tendo uma superfície de fundo em declive que inclui uma superfície superior afunilada que termina em uma superfície vertical, em que a superfície vertical termina em uma superfície afunilada inferior para a formação de um reservatório de bloco de bolso, de modo que o reservatório de bloco possui um volume de menos do que ou igual a cerca de cinco por cento do volume total do recipiente metalúrgico, é descrito. Este reservatório de bloco de bolso provê uma área para o acúmulo do metal de resíduo e da escória quando o recipiente metalúrgico é descarregado, resultando portanto em um aumento significativo da quantidade de metal puro utilizável descarregado a partir do recipiente metalúrgico e contribuindo, desta forma, para aumentar a eficiência volumétrica do recipiente. Um método para o aumento da eficiência de rendimento na produção de metal empregando este recipiente é também provido.
