Abstract
<B>"DISPOSITIVO PARA IMPEDIR A COMBUSTãO INCOMPLETA EM UM AQUECEDOR DE áGUA A GáS"<D>. A presente invenção trata de um dispositivo para impedir a combustão incompleta em um aquecedor de água a gás, quando o trocador de calor é obstruído. Um controlador de queimador (30), aplica uma voltagem a uma haste de chama (38), que é posicionada na chama produzida por um orifício de chama de um queimador (20). O controlador de queimador (30) fecha uma válvula solenóide de gás (26), destinada ao suprimento de gás combustível ao queimador, se a chama presente detectada na haste de chama estiver com um valor inicial predeterminado ou abaixo desse valor. Um tubo de refluxo (13) é fornecido sobre uma saia interna (10). O tubo de refluxo (13) apresenta uma abertura conectada na sua extremidade superior a uma câmara de combustão, abaixo de um trocador de calor (12), tendo também na sua parte inferior um tubo de retorno (13b), que apresenta uma abertura oposta ao orifício de chama (22a), acima da haste de chama. Se o trocador de calor estiver obstruído, a descarga de combustão, na parte superior da câmara de combustão, é retornada ao orifício de chama para provocar uma elevação na chama. A ponta da haste de chama é dobrada de volta horizontalmente, para aumentar a sua área de contato com a chama, enquanto a metade do orifício de chama, oposto ao tubo de retorno, é fechada.
