Abstract

<B>LIGAS DE POLìMEROS IMISCìVEIS<D>. é fornecida uma composição extrusável a qual é feito de pelo menos dois polímeros termoplásticos em uma construção biconstituinte. Um dos polímeros termoplásticos está presente como uma fase contínua dominante e o outro um ou mais polímeros estão presentes como uma fase ou fases não contínuas em uma quantidade menor do que aproximadamente 15 por cento em peso. Não é necessário compatibilizador. O polímero da fase ou fases não contínuas tem uma temperatura de fusão de polímeros menor do que 30°C abaixo da temperatura de fusão de polímero da fase contínua. O polímero da fase dominante pode ser, por exemplo, polipropileno e a fase não contínua pode ser, por exemplo, poliamida. A composição extrusável pode ser utilizada para produzir fibras que estão geralmente entre aproximadamente 5 a 50 microns de diâmetros. As fibras podem ser transformadas em panos não tecidos.
