Abstract

''POLIOLEFINAS TERMOPLáSTICAS MODIFICADAS POR IMPACTO E ARTIGOS FABRICADOS DAS MESMAS''. Composições termoplásticas processáveis por fusão e método para produzir as mesmas são descritos, estas composições compreendendo uma matriz de resina de polímero termoplástica selecionada do grupo consistindo de poliuretanos termoplásticas, cloretos de polivinila, estirênicos, termoplásticos de engenharias, e poliolefinas, pelo menos 25 por cento (em peso baseado na composição total) de um modificador de impacto elastomérico disperso como partículas discretas na matriz termoplástica (a); e pelo menos 10 por cento (em peso baseado na composição total) de pelo menos um polímero de etileno homogêneo linear ou substancialmente linear disperso como partículas discretas pelo menos no modificador de impacto (b), o polímero de etileno tendo uma distribuição de peso molecular menor que 3,5 e uma densidade pelo menos 0,04 g/cm maior que a densidade do componente modificador de impacto (b), onde o módulo elástico do componente termoplástico (a) é pelo mnos 200 vezes maior que o módulo elástico do componente modificador de impacto (b). Estas composições termoplásticas possuem processabilidade melhorada. Processos para fabricar artigos das mesmas são descritos.
