Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A RECUPERAçãO DE áCIDO LáCTICO", de soluções aquosas que contêm pelo menos um sal de lactato solúvel em água e têm um pH entre 4 e 14, aproximadamente, compreendendo os passos de: contactar a dita solução aquosa com um trocador de cátions que esteja, pelo menos parcialmente, em sua forma ácida, sendo o dito trocador de cátions imiscível em água tanto na forma ácida, como na salina, processo pelo qual é efetuada uma troca de íons, prótons são transferidos do trocador de cátions para a solução aquosa, para acidulá-la e formar ácido láctico na mesma, e cátions da solução aquosa são ligados pelo trocador de cátions; reagir o trocador de cátions portador de cátions para convertê-lo num trocador de cátions que esteja, pelo menos parcialmente, em sua forma ácida, e num segundo produto, segundo produto esse que seja básico e compreenda o cátion do sal; e recuperar ácido láctico da solução aquosa acidulada com teor de ácido láctico por métodos conhecidos per se.
