Abstract

"SISTEMA DE TELEFONE PúBLICO, APARELHO TELEFôNICO SEM FIO PARA USO NO MESMO, E, PROCESSO DE SUA OPERAçãO". A presente invenção proporciona um sistema de telefone público que inclui pluralidade de estações base de telefone público (10), cada um sendo conectada com uma rede telefônica (12), e uma multiplicidade de telefones sem fio (20), cada um sendo suscetível de comunicação com a rede telefônica (12) através de qualquer uma da pluralidade de estações base (10) que está dentro de uma gama de distâncias que habilita a dita comunicação a ocorrer de uma maneira sem fio. O sistema e seu processo de operação são caracterizado pelo fato dos telefones sem fio (20) não necessitarem se identificar à rede telefônica (12) e a rede telefônica (12) não necessitar participar na tarifação, salvo pelo debito de uma facilidade de pagamento associada com o telefone sem fio (20). A comunicação entre a estação base e o telefone sem fio (20) pode evitar o uso de freqüências e níveis de potência de transmissão que requerem licenciamento.
