Abstract
<B>"COLUNA DE POçO COM MóDULO DE CONTROLE E INSTALAçãO DE CONEXãO"<D>. Um módulo de controle submarino (25) é baixado por um tubo de suspensão (28) desde a superfície do mar até uma posição operativa caracaterizado pelo fato de que engate uma base de montagem (26), e pode ser recuperada do mesmo modo. A base de montagem (26) é munida de um anel de conexão (34) para receber um batoque (29) tornando parte do módulo de controle (25). O batoque (29) e o anel de conexão (34) respectivamente suportam primeiras e segundas porções dos dois conectores (40 na Figura 4) que estão dispostas para intercomunicar-se sempre que o batoque (29) estiver na sua posição axial operativa dentro do anel de conexão (34), mas são desconectadas quando o módulo da base dele (25) é suspenso para longe da base de montagem (26). As primeiras superfícies de vedação mútua que, quando engatadas, permanecem em plano paralelo ao eixo do batoque (29). An underwater control module (25) is lowered by a suspension tube (28) from the sea surface to an operating position characterized by the fact that it engages a mounting base (26), and can be retrieved in the same way. The mounting base (26) is provided with a connection ring (34) to receive a toggle (29) becoming part of the control module (25). The toggle (29) and the connection ring (34) respectively support first and second portions of the two connectors (40 in Figure 4) that are arranged to intercommunicate whenever the toggle (29) is in its axial operating position within the connection ring (34), but are disconnected when the base module of it (25) is suspended away from the mounting base (26). The first surfaces of mutual sealing that, when engaged, remain in a plane parallel to the toggle axis (29). In this way the connectors are arranged transverse to the toggle axis so that the line of action of the repair force always makes right angles to the direction in which the toggle (29) can move. This assembly substantially reduces the total size and weight of the control module (25) which can be held in position firmly by its own weight in the provision of a high pressure engagement mechanism.
