Abstract
"INSTALAçãO PARA TRANSFERIR METAL LìQUIDO E PROCESSO PARA OPERAR A MESMA". A invenção é relativa a uma instalação para transferir metal líquido, especificamente aço, entre um recipiente à montante (2) e um recipiente à jusante (10), que compreende: um recipiente à montante (2), um bocal de vazamento (28), um recipiente à jusante (10), um regulador de fluxo (26) para regular o fluxo do metal derretido através do bocal de vazamento (28) um conjunto de montagens de refratários (8, 12, 30, 32, 64, 66, 74) que são colocados entre o recipiente de montante e o recipiente de jusante, que delimitam o bocal de vazamento (28), através do qual o metal líquido escoa desde o recipiente de montante (2) para o interior do recipiente de jusante (10), cada conjunto refratário do bocal de vazamento (28) tendo, pelo menos, uma superfície de encontro (22) que forma uma junta com uma superfície correspondente de um conjunto refratário adjacente, um canal de proteção (18, 40) colocado ao redor do bocal de vazamento (28), perto de no mínimo uma superfície de encontro (22), entre montagens de refratário (1, 12, 30, 32, 64, 66, 74), este canal de proteção tendo uma entrada (44) capaz de permitir a introdução de materiais, em cuja instalação são fornecidos dispositivos (32, 34, 36) para introduzir um agente de vedação no interior do canal de proteção (40, 48).
