Abstract

"MéTODO PARA A PRODUçãO DE UMA ESTEIRA DE FIBRA DE VIDRO NãO TECIDA COMPREENDENDO FEIXES DE FIBRAS". Um método é fornecido para a formação de uma esteira de fibra de vidro não tecida de colocação molhada constituída de uma pluralidade de feixes de fibras. O método inclui as etapas de adição de fibras cortadas a uma pasta aquosa contendo uma quantidade suficiente de um agente hidrofóbico para fazer com que as fibras formem uma pluralidade de feixes. As fibras são então formadas em uma esteira que pode ser utilizada em várias aplicações de reforço. Um método também é fornecido para modificar os componentes na pasta aquosa para produzir esteiras que compreendem feixes de fibras ou fibras dispersas.
