Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>áCIDOS NUCLéICOS GENÈMICOS, cDNA e mRNA, QUE CODIFICAM PARA POLIPEPTìDEOS COM ATIVIDADE IL-16, PROCESSOS PARA PRODUçãO DOS MESMOS E SUA UTILIZAçãO"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um ácido nucléico com o qual a expressão de um polipeptídeo tendo atividade interleucina-16 pode ser conseguida ou regulada, em uma célula hospedeira procariótica ou eucariótica, em que na região que codifica para o referido polipeptídeo o referido ácido nucléico (a) corresponde à sequência de DNA SEQ ID N : 1 ou seu filamento complementar; (b) hibridiza sob condições rigorosas com o DNA da sequência SEQ ID N : 1; (c) ou é uma sequência de ácido nucléico que, caso não houve degeneração do código genético, irá hibridizar sob condições severas com as sequências de ácido nucléico definidas por (a) e (b); (d) e, codificar para um polipeptídeo tendo atividade interleucina-16, possui um comprimento de pelo menos 1179 nucleotídeos de codificação, é adequado como DNA genómico para a produção recombinante de IL-16 em células hospedeiras eucarióticas.
