Patente de Invenção: <B>"ARAME DE SOLDA PARA OS PROCESSOS DE SOLDAGEM MIG-MAG OU (GMAW), SEM ADIçãO DE GáS DE PROTEçãO INERTE OU ATIVO, E PROCESSO DE SOLDAGEM AO ARCO ELéTRICO"<D>. A presente invenção tem como finalidade eliminar o gás de proteção inerte ou ativo, utilizado durante as operações de soldagem dos processos de soldagem MIG e MAG, com arame sólido (dualshield) ou tubular, (innershield) reduzindo-se, assim, os custos de soldagem ao se eliminar, por exemplo, os contratos de locação e manutenção de tanques, linhas de distribuição, instrumentação, contratos de locação e manutenção de cilindros, manuseio de cilindros nas áreas de fabricação, e evidentemente, o mais importante que é o custo direto do gás de proteção. Este objetivo é alcançado utilizando-se um arame de solda autoprotegido, ou seja, que gera o seu próprio gás de proteção, e que é revestido com pelo menos uma camada de zinco, ou uma camada de latão, ou camadas alternadas de cobre ou zinco ou latão. Utiliza-se ainda um processo para soldagem ao arco elétrico, em que a poça de fusão e a gota transferida são protegidas por uma atmosfera gasosa, sendo que emprega-se o arame de solda autoprotegível descrito acima, e que a fusão ou queima da camada de zinco proporciona a atmosfera gasosa de autoproteção requerida na operação de soldagem.Invention Patent: <B> "WELDING WIRE FOR MIG-MAG OR (GMAW) WELDING PROCESSES, WITHOUT ADDING INERT OR ACTIVE PROTECTIVE GAS, AND ELECTRIC ARC WELDING PROCESS" <D>. The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the inert or active shielding gas used during the welding operations of the MIG and MAG welding processes, with solid (dualshield) or tubular wire (innershield), thus reducing the costs of welding by eliminating, for example, tank rental and maintenance contracts, distribution lines, instrumentation, cylinder rental and maintenance contracts, handling cylinders in the manufacturing areas, and of course, the most important thing is the direct cost of the shielding gas. This objective is achieved using a self-protected welding wire, that is, it generates its own shielding gas, and which is coated with at least one layer of zinc, or one layer of brass, or alternating layers of copper or zinc or brass. An electric arc welding process is also used, in which the melt puddle and the transferred drop are protected by a gaseous atmosphere, using the self-protecting welding wire described above, and the melting or burning of the layer zinc provides the self-protective gaseous atmosphere required in the welding operation.
