A invenção refere-se a um espelho retrovisor externo para veículos, de preferência, para veículos automotores, com uma base do espelho e uma carcaça do espelho, que pode ser dobrada em relação à base do espelho, e apresenta uma placa de suporte do cristal do espelho, a qual pode ser ajustada com um dispositivo de ajuste, que possui um elemento de ajuste que pode ser acionado a partir do interior do veículo. O objetivo da invenção reside em proporcionar um espelho retrovisor que, sujeito a um dobramento, retorne à sua posição de uso, ocupando novamente sua posição original.
