O dispositivo de trava, objeto do presente invento, compreende um pino de trava (1), alojado no interior de um furo rebaixado (2) existente na zona posterior da armação (3) do revólver. Dito pino de trava (1) apresenta uma porção de cabeça (5), que se aloja inteiramente no furo (2) disposto na parte superior da região posterior da armação (3), e uma porção de corpo (7), que na condição "travada" é destinada a interferir com um ressalto (13) formado no corpo do cão (6), sendo dita porção de corpo (7) dotada de uma canaleta helicoidal (8) e de rebaixos (9, 10) de posicionamento. Com a canaleta helicoidal (8) coopera um pino de presilha (11), enquanto que com os rebaixos de posicionamento (9, 10) coopera um conjunto de mergulhador-mola (12), disposto num alojamento realizado na armação (3) do revólver.Revolver Locking Device.
