Abstract

"INSTRUMENTO DENTAL ENDODÈNTICO". Um instrumento dental endodóntico aperfeiçoado é apresentado para extirpar e/ou obturar um canal radicular. O instrumento tem duas ou mais caneluras definindo arestas removedoras de tecido no qual as caneluras são formadas desiguais em dimensão, forma e/ou espaçamento em torno da periferia da haste do instrumento de modo a proporcionar um instrumento dotado de um grau de assimetria. As partes cheias são previstas adjacentes às arestas removedoras de tecido e pelo menos parte das partes cheias são reentrantes em relação à periferia para reduzir as cargas de atrito sobre o instrumento durante os procedimentos de extirpação e obturação.
