The flutes of the drill bit (150) can be cleaned by removing the residual tissue through the use of a rotating cleaner and flute (160) that rotates with the drill bit (150) when drilling or when the drill bit (150) is removed from the instrument. In this modality, the use of the device allows the collection of vital bone tissue for reconstruction of bone injuries, fractures or the fixation of orthopedic or dental implants that come into contact with bone.
