Liga resistente ao desgaste por cativação que compreende cerca de 10 a 40 porcento em peso de um ou mais formadores de carboneto incluindo uma parte de cromo, de 5 a 15 porcento em peso de cobalto, de 5 a 15 porcento em peso de manganês, de 3,5 a 7,0 porcento em peso de silício, de 1,8 a 4,8 porcento em peso de níquel, de 0,15 a 3,5 porcento em peso de carbono mais boro, de até 0,3 porcento em peso de nitrogênio, e o restante sendo de ferro mais impurezas.
