Abstract

"VACINAS DE PERTUSSIS ACELULAR E PROCESSOS DE PREPARAçãO DESTAS". Vacinas de pertussis acelular compreendem toxina purificada ou toxóide desta, hemaglutinina purificada, pertactina e aglutinogênios fimbriais formulados para conferir proteção a pelo menos 70% da população em risco. Os aglutinogênios fimbriais podem ser preparados de uma cepa de Bordetella, particularmente uma B. pertussis, por um procedimento de múltiplas etapas envolvendo extração dos aglutinogênios fimbriais de uma pasta de célula e concentrando e purificando o material extraído.
