"PROTETOR OCULAR DESCARTáVEL PARA USO EM PACIENTES DURANTE TRATAMENTO ODONTOLóGICO". Patente de Modelo de Utilidade para um protetor ocular com o objetivo de dar proteção aos olhos do paciente adulto e infantil, limitada a pequenos acidentes que podem ocorrer durante tratamento odontológico, e também diminuir o incómodo causado pela claridade do refletor. O protetor ocular é constituído por uma peça única (1), feita de material termoplástico, transparente, flexível e resistente, de tonalidade cristalina, escurecida ou cores variadas. O corpo do protetor (1) cortado em lâmina, recebe prensagem e adquire formato tridimensional, ficando assim formado por: uma área elevada (3), que projeta-se para o exterior, plana na superfície, que ficará sobre os olhos; e uma base plana (2) que contorna a área elevada (3) e os olhos, adaptando-se ao rosto. Na sua face interna é fixada por colagem, uma tira de borracha fina (11); possui também em cada extremidade um prolongamento (4) com um orifício (8) em cada ponta, onde é fixado um elástico roliço (5), que contornará a cabeça do paciente, prendendo o protetor."DISPOSABLE EYE PROTECTOR FOR PATIENTS DURING DENTAL TREATMENT".
