O presente modelo de utilidade refere-se a uma inovadora disposição construtiva introduzida em placa para sinalização ou publicidade, que é iluminada permanentemente, alimentada pela rede elétrica ou por baterias internas quando ocorre interrupção no fornecimento de energia elétrica. A placa iluminada para publicidade e/ou sinalização compreende uma peça base e estrutural (1) onde é embutida "de cutelo" uma chapa de acrílico (2). No interior da peça base (1) está posicionada a fonte de iluminação posicionada de forma que os raios de luz emitidos se propaguem pelo interior da chapa de acrílico (2), gerando um efeito visual atraente e chamativo. A fonte de iluminação interna pode ser de dois tipo: lâmpada fluorescente tipo "palito" (3) ou LED de alta intensidade (3').
