Abstract

"TUBO DE SIFãO COM RETENTOR". Refere-se o presente Modelo de Utilidade a um aperfeiçoamento em um conhecido dispositivo usado em hidráulica predial para a vazão de fluidos: o sifão. Os sifões são utilizados para conectar as peças hidráulicas e conduzir as águas servidas. Suas aplicações são numerosas, sendo uma delas mostrada esquematicamente pela vista lateral de uma pia (1), que em sua parte mais baixa tem uma saída (2), onde se acopla a extremidade (3) do sifão (4), o qual é feito em material polimérico corrugado, sendo o acoplamento sob pressão provido por um anel rosqueado (5), feito em material metálico. Nessa extremidade, existe também o anel de vedação (6), feito em material elastomérico, com a finalidade de evitar vazamentos da água servida, e ainda o anel de retenção (7). A característica original deste Modelo de Utilidade reside no emprego, em lugar do anel retentor comum, um anel retentor tipo "seger" (8), que apresenta um rasgo radial (9) e um par de pequenos orifícios (10) próximos ao dito rasgo radial, com a finalidade de abrir mais facilmente esse retentor, facilitando sua instalação no sulco apropriado."SIPHAN PIPE WITH RETAINER".
