Abstract

"HASTES BLOQUEADAS POR INTERSEçãO PARA OSTEOSSìNTESE". O presente modelo ao conjugar duas hastes metálicas passa a constituir um aparato, capaz de fixar fraturas de ossos longos (úmero, fêmur e tíbia), com menos traumatismo cirúrgico, menor custo, fácil aplicação e maior resistência do que o estado atual da técnica. Este sistema que resulta do acoplamento por interseção de duas hastes metálicas, é constituído por uma haste metálica maciça semi-flexível (1) com a ponta biselada (2) e um tubo metálico (3) com uma fenda (4) na extremidade proximal (5) possui dois orifícios, um proximal (6) e outro distal (7). Para introduzir a haste semi-flexível (1) dentro da haste tubular (3), um gabarito (8) guia a haste semi-flexível (1) que, introduzida pelo orifício proximal (6) do tubo é pressionada até chegar ao orifício distal (7), por onde sai e crava a ponta (2) no osso, impedindo os movimentos axiais e rotacionais ao nível da fratura.
