Abstract
"PURIFICAçãO DE 1,3-PROPANODIOL POR DESTILAçãO". A presente invenção é um processo para purificação de 1,3-propanodiol (PDO) através de uma seq³ência de destilação invertida que compreende: (a) opcionalmente remoção de água ou outros solventes da mistura bruta de 1,3-propanodiol; (b) destilação de mistura bruta de 1,3-propanodiol sob condições de maximizam a separação de componentes da mistura que são mais pesados que 1,3-propanodiol do 1,3-propanodiol e os componentes que são mais leves que 1,3-propanodiol; (c) retirada de uma corrente que contem pelo menos maior parte do 1,3-propanodiol e pelo menos alguns dos componentes da mistura que são mais leves que 1,3-propanodiol; e (d) destilação de corrente de (c) para separar o 1,3-propanodiol dos componentes na corrente que são mais leves que 1,3-propanodiol e quaisquer componentes residuais que são mais pesados que 1,3-propanodiol."1,3-PROPANODIOL PURIFICATION BY DISTILLATION". The present invention is a process for purifying 1,3-propanediol (PDO) by an inverted distillation sequence comprising: (a) optionally removing water or other solvents from the crude 1,3-propanediol mixture; (b) distillation of crude 1,3-propanediol mixture under conditions of maximizing separation of mixture components that are heavier than 1,3-propanediol from 1,3-propanediol and components that are lighter than 1,3 propanediol; (c) removing a stream containing at least most 1,3-propanediol and at least some of the mixture components that are lighter than 1,3-propanediol; and (d) stream distillation from (c) to separate 1,3-propanediol from stream components that are lighter than 1,3-propanediol and any residual components that are heavier than 1,3-propanediol.
