Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO DE MELHORA DE SINAL CELULAR". Um dispositivo de melhora de sinal de baixo custo e transportável pelo usuário para a extensão da cobertura de serviço de comunicações sem fio para um usuário em uma área desejada de cobertura limitada. A melhoria suporta um aumento dos níveis de potência de sinal para possibilitar o uso de comunicação sem fio em um local, tal como um ambiente de pequeno escritório ou de escritório doméstico, onde os sinais de celular originais sejam fracos ou não confiáveis. Um sinal de estação rádio-base é melhorado por um dispositivo amplificador bidirecional (BDA), o qual recebe um sinal de estação rádio-base, amplifica a potência do sinal e retransmite o sinal amplificado em um primeiro caminho de sinal para um usuário nas proximidades imediatas. O amplificador bidirecional também recebe um sinal de usuário, amplifica a potência do sinal e retransmite o sinal amplificado para a estação rádio-base em um segundo caminho de sinal separado. Antenas de polarização dupla podem receber e transmitir os respectivos sinais em polarizações opostas para aumentar a isolação dos sinais.
