Abstract

"APARELHO PARA UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA". A presente invenção se refere a um aparelho para um motor de combustão interna que para cada cilindro com pistão associado possui pelo menos uma válvula de admissão e pelo menos uma válvula de exaustão (10) para controlar a conexão entre a câmara de combustão no cilindro e um sistema de aspiração e um sistema de exaustão, respectivamente. Um eixo de manivela (eixo de comando) rotacionável (18) com um came (excêntrico) (22) está designado para interagir com um primeiro seguidor (rolete) do came (17) e com um segundo seguidor do came (20) de maneira a fazer a ligação entre dois diferentes modos de operação. Em concordância com a presente invenção, o referido aparelho para um motor de combustão interna está caracterizado pelo fato de que os referidos seguidores do came (17, 20) estão montados sobre um braço de balanço giratório (13), o segundo seguidor do came (20) estando hidraulicamente ajustável entre duas posições por intermédio de um pistão (21) localizado em um cilindro hidráulico (23), e de que, o cilindro hidráulico (23) está conectado para uma fonte de fluido hidráulico por intermédio de um duto de fluido hidráulico (29), e de que o pistão (21) pode ser movimentado a partir de uma posição para a outra pela ação de uma quantidade de fluido hidráulico entregue para o cilindro hidráulico (23).
